  1. Democracy, meaning governing the state by the public, is in the essence of Dutch and Flanders identity. It is the highest and only desired form of state, and it is our motive to come to an integration of Flanders and the Netherlands.
  2. The secession in 1830 was a dramatic mistake which lead the Southern Netherlands in a catastrophic decline.
  3. A democratic and effective government is made impossible by the Belgian state, because of its anti united-Netherlands basis.
  4. The Low Countries have, besides a common history and cultural heritage, a similar governing culture and mentality which makes an effective nation possible.
  5. All steps in the direction of cooperation and integration of Flanders and the Netherlands are welcome, but forms of cooperation based on the existing states of the Netherlands and Belgium are doomed to become powerless.
  6. Flanders and the Netherlands should be able to negotiate directly with each other regarding an integrated state structure.
  7. A confederal state structure is the best form to respect and develop the diversity in the Low Countries.
  8. Flanders and the Netherlands are forming the core of the state we pursue.
  9. Brussels is one the most important cities in the Low Countries and an important keystone for the Confederacy. A suited and active persuasionpolicy is needed to win Brussels for the Confederacy.
  10. The non-dutch lingual areas of the Low Countries, such as Wallonia, Luxemburg and the German-speaking part of Belgium, have the right to be part of the Confederacy, if they desire so.
